ABOUT DECORWEAVE
A practical way to build handmade decor skills.
OUR APPROACH
DecorWeave treats interior decor as a series of small, visible choices: material, color, scale, spacing, placement, and finish. Instead of starting with a full-room makeover, the course focuses on manageable pieces such as wall accents, tray arrangements, shelf details, and simple decorative panels.
Practice begins before the final piece is made. Learners sketch basic shapes, compare fabric strips or cord, test glue lines on spare material, and check proportions with paper templates so each project feels less rushed and more connected to the room where it will be placed.
WHAT GUIDES THE COURSE
Material First
Color, texture, weight, and finish are tested before cutting or gluing. A small material board helps prevent cluttered choices.
Measured Making
Rulers, pencil marks, templates, and scrap tests support cleaner edges, steadier proportions, and fewer wasted supplies.
Room Fit
Each accent is checked for scale, spacing, room light, and negative space before more decorative details are added.
PRACTICE OVER DECORATING GUESSWORK
Many first decor projects become confusing because too many colors, textures, and shapes are added at once. The course slows that process down by separating the decisions: choose a neutral base, add one accent color, test texture contrast, then review the focal point before continuing.
The same careful pace applies to finishing. Learners practice trimming fabric, tying even knots, hiding glue marks, checking hanging points, and viewing the piece from across the room so small handmade accents can look neater without needing advanced tools.
